PUMAS OA HOME TO JARROW

After an encouraging performance away to top of the league  Wallsend last week where the Pumas young side were unlucky not win the game a home game to Reigning north east champions Jarrow Vikings could not have been a more stark contrast.  Taking nothing away from a good Jarrow Performance, Peterlee failed to compete for long periods of this encounter.  In Patches some really good rugby played, man of the match hooker Jack Adamson posted 2 tries with some great individual skill and luke watson also an individual effort as he chipped the jarrow line and recovered his kick in midfield to go under the sticks but these emphasised the pumas problems even more as it was lack of team play that is the Pumas main issue.  YOung George Wall in the second row playing only his second game of Rugby League  could be forgiven for thinking his dissalowed try was good as him went from dummy half and some of the Pumas 16s playing their first games at open age made a good fist in terms of effort and trying to lead the way and bode well for the future but apart from this it was an error strewn display from the Pumas that needs to improve quickly.  Next game away to Durham Demons on the 27th June.  Training wednesday and fridays, if you are interes
